The date of the race had to be postponed until the next day due to heavy sandstorms at Phoenix that blanketed the track surface. So it was held during the day with Burnout sitting on the pole. Scorpio dominated the race leading the most laps and picked up career win #1 as a rookie. Pilburn got 2nd and Burnout rounded out the Top 3.

FINAL RESULTS:
1) [HEN] Scorpio (Chevrolet) - 60 pts (+5 most laps led) = 65 pts
2) [GEM] Pilburn (Dodge) - 52 pts
3) [PEN] Burnout (Dodge) - 47 pts (+5 pole) = 52 pts
4) [PEN] Kooler (Dodge) - 42 pts
5) [HEN] Raptor (Chevrolet) - 37 pts
6) [RGM]fastman65 (Dodge) - 33 pts
7) [HEN]AOD1857 (Chevrolet) - 29 pts

Torey qualified but did not show for the race.
