Stop #2 for the Chase for the Sprint Cup was Dover. Kyle Busch having troubles last week came into today with his head held high since he was victorioius in the first Dover race this year. Mark Martin once again started 2nd, this time losing out the pole to Jeff Gordon. Two early cautions kicked off the race, the first for Kurt Busch and David Gilliland, and the other for Patrick Carpentier and Carl Edwards, Carl only sustaining minimal damage. Then the race went green awhile with Jamie McMurray and Jimmie Johnson taking turns leading laps. Later, it came down to fuel stategy. Johnson had to make an earlier pit stop than Carl so Edwards regained the lead when Johnson pit. Mark Martin put up a great fight in the closing laps, perhaps having a shot at challenging for the win, but his car got tight and it left a trio of Roush drivers duking it out for the race win, Biffle, Edwards, and Kenseth. The racing from here on through the finish was excellent, lots of passing between these teammates which really made you get out of your seat. In the end, Greg Biffle reigned supreme and went two in a row in the Chase so far, closing in on the point lead. Matt Kenseth ended up 2nd and Carl Edwards got 3rd, Roush Fenway's first 1-2-3 finish. So where was Kyle Busch this race? Well about halfway through the race, Kyle's engine was blowing up and he was forced to register yet another poor finish in the Chase. In fact these same drivers finished 2nd-4th in the first Dover event and since Kyle Busch wasn't around to challenge, it was a shot for these guys to score a win. Six Chevys, the three Fords in the Top 3, and one Toyota got Top 10s. Cool to see Michael Waltrip getting 10th. Eight chasers got Top 10s.

The Top 10:
1. #16 Greg Biffle (Ford)
2. #17 Matt Kenseth (Ford)
3. #99 Carl Edwards (Ford)
4. #8 Mark Martin (Chevrolet)
5. #48 Jimmie Johnson (Chevrolet)
6. #29 Kevin Harvick (Chevrolet)
7. #24 Jeff Gordon (Chevrolet)
8. #07 Clint Bowyer (Chevrolet)
9. #31 Jeff Burton (Chevrolet)
10. #55 Michael Waltrip (Toyota)

Off to Kansas for Race 3 of the Chase, can Biffle keep it up?
