Burnout on Youtube in rFactor races!!!

Somebody posted a tape from the Auto Club race I was in the other night driving the #07 DirecTV Chevy. Unfortunately its not one of the better performances I had that night. I raced seven races, had a win, four Top 5 finishes, a 6th (here at Auto Club) and a 10th at Indianapolis.

It shows me involved in an accident off Turn #2 that got me some right front damage I had to deal with for the rest of the race.

My take on the accident is I was reacting to the slow #29 car in the middle groove and I decided to try passing him above. Little did I expect that he would get back up to speed quickly and I then decided to back out that spot at the exit of 2. You can just barely tell that he was able to clear me off Turn 2 on the tape here, but watching the actual tape in game, he DID just barely slip in front. But he slammed the wall overdriving the corner and so did I but we never made physical contact car-to-car. His impact sent him rebounding off the wall into the car below and I got lightly involved in it. Yes I probably caused the incident but I tried all I could in a short period of time to back out of my attempted pass.

I did recover to run in the Top 5 for most of the race, later getting passed to fall to 6th.
