2009 SCARTS Cars
Hey Scorpio, when you get around to it, I need at least one paint scheme from every car so I have enough cars for the open exhibition race. So far I have the #2, 6, 07, 9, 14, 18, 39, 47, 48, 83, 84, 88, 96 and 98 cars. I know for a fact Pil will drive the #44 car so find at least one sponsor for that one (the Allmendinger car). Also the 43 if you can. The others you can get around to whenever but at some point I'd like at least one of each of em

Re: 2009 SCARTS Cars
Actually, Scorpio is working on finding a render to make the cars look better and he was going to make one test car for now until everyone approves of the handling.

Re: 2009 SCARTS Cars
Way ahead. I've already tested the car, made a brand new pat file to fix contact glitches, and sized them perfectly for racing. In fact, I'm making all the cars now since I think the car ready for it. I bet you all will like this new generation model. Scorpio does get co-credit for this since they are his models and I tweaked the custom handling he used to make them better. The detail is plenty good enough (already 10X better than the 08 cars) and Scorp can continue with how he made them the 939 x 375 resolutions. I'm real satisfied They are plenty larger than last years yet not unreasonably large to make it hard to race. I think I hit the sweet spot and it'll be fun to test them anytime.
Thing is I am kind of rushed to get these cars completed due to wanting to host the race in late March. It would be awesome if you could make the cars like you did and I can continue with sizing them. Its so very important you make them the same way you did to keep the competition equal.
Think of it this way, the 2010 season will have even BETTER looking cars, lets not advance too quickly and lose the work I've already done on them so far.

Re: 2009 SCARTS Cars
I meant like an actual test car with the SCARTS logo on there and the series sponsor on there too.
I hope these babies are heavy like in reality. I hate drifting around the short tracks and I hate going full throttle around them, I would like to see letting off the gas and carrying some momentum through the corners instead of getting side ways like McMurray.

Re: 2009 SCARTS Cars
Ok let me clarify why I went into handling for the cars. For me to know how to size the cars, I had to access the car file to chance the scaling factor for the cars. One thing led to another, the pat file, and everything got me to change handling. Hope you aren't too annoyed by that, but I really think these cars are about ready to compete with.

Re: 2009 SCARTS Cars
They fell pretty good, It's actually more tight than I thought, but not loose as much either. It has a good balance. All we need to do is configure track properties.
