ENTRY LIST: The 2010 SCARTS Showdown [Everyone except TomCat, Slick, Burn, Burnout, and Lexx] (Exhibition)

The Sprint Showdown qualifier race will be open to all drivers that haven't won races so far in 2010, a past SCARTS champion or finished on the podium in 2009. So basically everyone except TomCat, Slick, Burn, Burnout, and Lexx are elligible to race in this event. The top two finishers in that event will transfer into All-Star race. Yes Raptor and Scorpip will have to compete in the Showdown to qualify in even though they were Chasers in 2009.

This year, we will vary from the NASCAR style format some and use one of our own. This year, the SCARTS Showdown will be a 50 lap feature. This year, we won't run a qualifying session for the Showdown.

**The lineup for the Showdown will be set in the order drivers sign this entry list.**

The format of the Showdown will be one 30 lap segment and one finishing 20 lap segment. The first segment will be fueled, startfuel adjustments will be allowed as well. You will have to pit at least once, so choose fuel wisely. Burnout will be the pace car.

The second segment will be a 20 lap run to the finish, without fuel. The order of the field after the first segment will be the order everyone lines up for the final segment. DAMAGE will be activated during this final segment to intensify the action. The damage curve will be substantial, so its important not to get hit or block or you might lose a good deal of speed from your car. There will be quickie cautions, so we will always restart green the lap after pitstops. The pace car (Burnout) will get on the track and halt the field right after pits open so the field will stop and get in order for the restart. Remember, damage!!! So be careful.

The top two finishers will transfer into the main event, the SCARTS All-Star Race.

Vote won for Tuesday @ 6:30pm EST. If more than one All-Star driver is missing Tuesday, we will postpone the All-Star till Wednesday or after. But Tuesday no question will be the Showdown race. The top two will transfer into the field.

Slick's internet connection is out so he may or may not race at DOC's place. But if Slick has to miss, I'll move Raptor into the All-Star field due to being next in line from 2009 points.
