ENTRY LIST: Shake & Bake 500 @ Daytona (Race 1 of 20)

The season opener is scheduled for 7:30pm EST with practice, quals following, and then the race. Spread the word!!

Burn had an idea for naming races this year. The winner of last years event may choose a name for the race. Since Pilburn won the event, Burn thought up something Pil might call the race. Pilburn is able to revise the name of this race if he chooses, he has the right.

But on topic here, this is the first points race of the 2010 SCARTS Full Throttle Cup season! I will be making some more cars for the opener, so please list the car number you are using for the season.

The nine challengers from the SCARTS Shootout will consist of the first nine on the starting grid given all of them start. Those who did not race in the Shootout will be placed on the grid in order of 2009 final points behind the Shootout starters.

RACE INFO
- Time: 7:30pm EST for practice for 20 mins, prac begins by 7:45, Race begins by 8:15pm
- 200 laps
- First 20 laps is an opportunity to lead a lap for 5 bonus points - Lexx's bonus is secured due to winning the Shootout.
- Five bonus points for leading halfway.
- Fuel: 750 seconds
- Start order: Finishing order from Shootout and then order of 2009 points behind them.

It can be one of two days coming up, Sunday night or Monday night. Please vote for one, both, or neither.

I can race either day, but I prefer Monday because Bristol is Sunday and I don't want to race SCARTS on a very eventful day.

It's not that eventful. Personally, I'm going to watch some NCAA Basketball. Bristol will be the channel that I'll be switching to during commercials.

Are you serious, you'd rather watch Basketball over one of the most prestigious races in NASCAR. Bristol is in one of the top sports events of the weekend, if not the best!

I play basketball and I've been watching it my whole life. I've probably started liking NASCAR around age 13. Bristol comes twice. March Madness is only once a year!!

It's gonna rain on Sunday in Bristol, likely will be pushed back to Monday. 70% chance, yet, Bristol is one of the quickest tracks to dry. Its a race they 'could' technically delay as much as possible into nighttime if needed like the Daytona 500, if they see an opportunity to dry the track and fit the race in between storms.

Doesn't really get dark now till like 8pm though.

That means that Burn can watch both... I don't want to see Bristol rained out, because that will be two great races this year with a problem.
