Check out these practice crashes before the Daytona Duels.

First Part: Clint Bowyer blows a tire and gets into David Reutimann. They go to backups.
Second Part: Logano and Mike Bliss wreck involving Jimmie Johnson. All of them go to backups. Kyle Busch miraculously weaves through the trouble unscathed.. Oo

Talk about insanity! Guys trying to get a good starting spot, guys trying to just get in the race in today's Duels. Insanity! To top it all off, two close finishes! Lots of drama too with Michael Waltrip trying to get in, you can tell that the Speed crew was just as hopeful as he was. It was awesome racing all over....

Hendrick and RCR looked pretty strong, but Burton had plain bad luck with the tire trouble. I'm hoping that it wasn't a sign of things to come for him. Montoya looked strong in Duel 2, maybe he's got a good chance to win the 500?

All three of Penske's Dodges (the only Dodges in the race!) looked strong, and I have to admit that with Dodge having only one full-time team in Cup this year, that might play into their advantage.

By the way, did anyone notice how wild Denny Hamlin was driving early in Duel 1? He was all over the place and nearly got a couple of people loose. I guess Dale Jr. was right when he said he can't bump draft!
