2010 SCARTS Points System (**Subject to change**)

Starting with 2010, SCARTS has a brand new points system. I feel the real NASCAR points system is too large for the max amount of players allowed on Turbo Sliders and this new system makes crunching points much easier after each race.

Here is the 2010 SCARTS points system (**May be subject to change before season starts**)

1st - 100
2nd - 90
3rd - 85
4th - 80
5th - 75
6th - 70
7th - 66
8th - 62
9th - 58
10th - 54
11th - 50
12th - 47
13th - 44
14th - 41
15th - 38
16th - 36
17th - 34
18th - 32
19th - 31
20th - 30

You can also earn bonus points in two different ways. These have been modified since last year.
-Old Rule: Leader of Lap 1 earns five bonus points.
1 - NEW RULE: Everyone who leads a lap during the first 20 laps of a race may earn five bonus points. This format allows more racers to have a shot at leading a lap who didn't qualify as well as they hoped.

2 - Lead the lap at the halfway point of the race to earn five bonus points. This is unchanged from 2009.
