My only thing to support this is the fact that Pilburn had been able to retain his win in an earlier event. Burnout told me that we would just dock points. Pilburn had jumped the final restart and didn't let up, thus he was penalized with a points deduction. But that is another story.

There is no rule in the rulebook supporting my case, except for the black flag which couldn't happen, and there is no rule against my case either. So I figured this would be the right way to decide this, let the people express their opinions and thoughts about this.

Remember, this is just one of those bumps in the road, and trust me there will be plenty more to come. On the upside we can create rules and enforce them correctly and then we will know what to do for the next time this might happen. I hope Burnout would agree with me on this because Lexx does and we can move on and correct this problem. If we can get over this issue we can run over others, I think the admins also had to do with this mess as well, we need to construct a better rulebook and more accurate punishments.

I have never been in a situation like this before in all of my years as an administrator at other forums and things. I am going to put this behind me and I am going to move on...

You know guys, what we are doing here is an excellent way to determine punishment. Getting input in from everybody greatly clears the picture of what you guys have gone through.

It is a great way to determine things like this, but it also could get biased... Which shouldn't be the case this time.

It doesnt matter if its in the rules or not, burnout has said it over and over again in the server. Ive argued that once because i was penalized for something not in the rules, but burnout told me that if he said it... then its a rule.

If it would be a rule, then it would be stated in the "rulebook".

Any rule I 'state' that isn't in the rulebook is a common sense mistake that you guys make. Just because it isn't stated gives you no right to pull that move in the race. Common sense should tell you to race fairly and not pull cheap moves that provide loopholes in the rulebook. As these errors happen, eventually the rulebook will be modified to incorporate those. The book isn't perfect and WILL NEVER BE. Just use your head guys...

True, but now that we do have it in there, we shouldn't have this problem.
