RESULTS: Vegas Strip 400 @ Las Vegas

Burnout scored his 2nd pole of the season edging Raptor by 0.017 seconds for the top spot. Raptor went on to lead the most laps while others played pit strategy and rode behind. A caution flew during green flag pit stops which shuffled the running order. But the strong cars muscled to the front and Pilburn duked it out with Burnout in the closing few laps to score his fourth career win and first of the season.

FINAL RESULTS:
1. [GEM] Pilburn (Dodge) - 60 pts
2. [PEN] Burnout (Dodge) = 52 pts (+5 pole) = 57 pts
3. [HMS] Scorpio* (Chevrolet) - 47 pts
4. [HMS] Raptor* (Chevrolet) - 42 pts (+5 most laps led) = 47 pts
5. [RGM] fastman65 (Dodge) - 37 pts
6. [DEI] Torey* (Chevrolet) - 33 pts
7. [HMS] DerekE (Chevrolet) - 29 pts
