Do you think after the 500 that damage should be equipped in SCARTS?

Re: Damage Regulations
Hm I said yes. It's not a bad thing, I love the damage system but the server was way too damn laggy to tell if it worked correctly or not.

Re: Damage Regulations
My reasons...
1. I was constantly worrying about damage because everyone was bumping all night long and it gets rather annoying.
2. Lag was pushing some of us into the other cars making it almost impossible to avoid losing damage percents.
3. I think it works much better at INTERMEDIATE tracks than superspeedways.
4. We only tested this at one track and I was all for it until I noticed bump drafting would be near impossible to achieve if you didn't want your car to slow down.
If there is some way to make it only so walls affect the cars damage and not the opponents cars I would be fine with that, but the racing could have been much better I think if damage was turned off.
Please take this into note...

Re: Damage Regulations
I think we need to look at this more...I mean, damage in superspeedways? It doesn't look good, but in the intermediate tracks and roadcourses, it'd be great...because when it comes down to it, the reason that the shorter tracks exist is for bump-and-grinds and all that crap. So look into it some more...

Re: Damage Regulations
Maybe only intermediate tracks should have damage then, who knows...

Re: Damage Regulations
I wasn't comfortable with the damage headed into the race, but for some reason I didn't notice it much. I was too focused on racing and getting track position, I never gave it a thought.
But reading what you guys have said, I really wish we coulda ran the Duels after all to test this stuff. It could have made the 500 much better if we knew what changes to make ahead of time.
But I agree, we could live without the damage unless we get busy on making it more realistic.

Re: Damage Regulations
i say to never have damage again...it spread the cars out and we couldent race side by side because everyone was wrried of damage, which is gay and i loved pack racing which damage took away..you will see...it will get boring with damage...like F1 Racing (which is gay)

Re: Damage Regulations
Bro, I have a hard time even staying on the track. If you add damage to the equation might as well kick me out with how I'm bumping against cars right now. Not that I mean to, not at all! But last race I must have run one or two drivers right off the track without meaning to. It would be a shame to penalize them for that.
