Re: Phenom Season Opener - Daytona
I modified the start time for final practice, now 5pm EST so we don't have to practice while the Nationwide race is still on.

Guys, you need to find a better time to schedule practices. I go out on weekends, I can't make it, unfortunately, this upsets me.

So you say "This upsets me". Ok Mr. Big Shot, I'll have you schedule everything from now on. That should fix everything.
I wish you could simply state your opinion without capping off your comment with a smart remark at me or the league. I feel less motivated to actually 'accomodate' you if you are so arrogant in your comments.

Re: Phenom Season Opener - Daytona
Yes Klutch, I WISH I could do that. But you see, I scheduled this final practice for 4pm EST for at least a few days since I announced when qualifying would wrap up. NOT A SINGLE PERSON WAS ON, so the hour pushback still didn't make a difference. Scheduling stuff way in advance always gets in the way of last minute conflicts. That's just the way it goes, which means it is in a driver's best interest to AT LEAST check back occasionally once or twice a day to any scheduling updates. The final practice turnout proves that a solid schedule still doesn't do any good because there will always be some conflict that arises between the annoucement and the race or session.
Its a dead end street to handle this any other way. I have to rely on speaking to you all personally to work out a time.
And Burn, don't take my comment the wrong way, I was simply saying: Back off now and then with negative comments and be a bit constructive with your comments without turning them into a means of insult. This is a for fun league, but I would hope people would try to set aside some time in their week 'on a consistent basis' for racing.

Re: Phenom Season Opener - Daytona
FINAL PRACTICE HAS BEEN SCRUBBED!!! This means, noone will be at an advantage with more track time than somebody else. Please arrive no later than 8pm EST so we can get sorted out to start by 8:10 at the latest. Good luck all!

1 quick conflict, hopefully I'll still be able to make it. Since I'm saying this in advance, if I don't make it at 8:00, can you push the race back to 8:30, I have an important baseball game. Qualifying for States!
