RESULTS: Dover II (Chase Race 1)

After a long break, Burnout was up to speed taking the pole at the second Dover race, serving as the first track in the Chase. Those bonus points were key to building on his lead even more. Kooler clocked in second quick in one of his best qualifying efforts so far. Burn replaced Scorpio in the Chase due to Scorpio not showing up. Burn ended up as fourth seed entering the race due to a win he registered this season. Burnout took the most laps led award in the race, but found trouble late in the race, finishing 5th. However, his teammate Kooler ran well all day and took his first career win in the first Chase race much like Clint Bowyer did in the 2007 Chase. Pilburn makes a strong statement getting second as well.

2nd - #11 Pilburn (Toyota) = 52 pts
3rd - #5 Burn (Chevrolet) = 47 pts
4th - #7 Fastman65 (Dodge) = 42 pts
5th - #2 Burnout (Dodge) = 37 pts (+5 pole / +5 most laps led) = 47 pts
6th - #99 DOC (Ford) = 33 pts
