Forum Layout/Appearance

What do you think about the forums appearance and overall layout?

Should it be changed? If so list specific things that should be done.

To be honest I think it needs to be changed, the layout in my eyes is too overwhelming and could use a simpler look. I am not a big fan of the bar on the side that lists your profile and the navigation thing. I would like to see a simple look with a normal background instead of a picture.

I kinda think the calendar on the right needs to be tweaked a bit, because I'm running 1280x800 res on my computer, and it sort of is cut off at the very end, which just looks stupid in my opinion.

I am having the same problem except all my stuff is on the right side.

I meant the left side whoops, yeah thats the same thing I have to look at.

I'm not sure if Burnout overlooked that or if it's some kind of coding error on Darkbb's part...but it still looks so....stupid! That's all I can really call it.

In my mind, would be better light colors (white/blue, white/black, white/red).

yeah those colors are good, I just think there is too much yellow and things where it makes it hard to look at one specific thing. It needs to simplistic and still have a color scheme.

I'm gonna be blunt...not enough green. And also, if I were a mod again (don't worry, I'm not interested in hosting races this time), I'd change the ticker more often...LOL

Yeah Aniro, I know its outdated...I haven't had a chance to do anything with it. But now I'm updating the results/standings and then the ticker will read correctly.

I run 1280x800 as well, but it looks fine to me. Strange.

I'd like to hear more output from you guys about this. I'm willing to make a few changes as long as their minor. I know Burnout spent a lot of time deciding the colors and images for the forum, so I'm not going to make any drastic changes.

I'm just not a big fan of all the buttons and most of the colors, I like a simple look.
