Nationwide Series - Last Lap Crash @ Gateway + My Rant on Carl Edwards
OK, how many times has Carl Edwards nearly killed the following?
Seriously, because I'm shocked that Edwards didn't get a suspension from at least the Nationwide Series. Yes, I know BK is a rookie, a careless rookie. Yes, I know that he still isn't over the fact that he got turned over at 'Dega by BK last year when going for a win, but dammit, is Carl Edwards turning into some sadist freak that's enjoying wrecking a (I forget how old he is) 19 or 20-something kid and risking any of the following three serious harm? I mean, it was bad enough when NASCAR gave him a slap on the wrist for dumping him during the Cup race at Atlanta while he was over 100 laps down...
That being said, I do understand that it was the last lap, and it was to go for the win, that I will not take away. But with recent history between Edwards and BK, this really can't be ignored. I saw his gloves make a turn to the left to take out BK on the way to the line, when he could have made it just as exciting with a photo finish! To make it worse...BK got t-boned two or three more times, before coming across the line and Edwards didn't show any remorse for the fact that he could have still killed someone!
If this were 2000 and not 2010, then BK and the other drivers involved would have suffered serious injury or worse...same applies to Atlanta.

I thought it was awesome. /stupidcomment
But seriously, it was definitely a close race, I'm kinda shocked Edwards actually claimed what he did after the race. That man needs a racing lawyer, not very good with his words.
Also, I dislike Brad strongly because of his rough racing. The dude needs to chill. If he had only raced fair to begin with, none of that probably would have happened. Lol
My statements may seem biased to you.. only cuz they are. ;D

Carl Edwards deserved the penalty and so did Keselowski, either a punishment or no punishment. Remember it is gloves off and Carl did cross the line, I have disliked him ever since Atlanta and this proves once again that he is becoming an idiot. Brad Keselowski has more patience it seems...

Re: Nationwide Series - Last Lap Crash @ Gateway + My Rant on Carl Edwards
One question: Didn't they both get probation after BK went turtle at Atlanta? What strikes me is that this was a blatant violation for both of them, considering that this is the 2nd time this season that Carl has punted BK.
EDIT (10:24): Edwards did have a three-race probation...so one would call this strike two for both of them?
I will be honest: If BK hadn't gone in the air in Atlanta, it wouldn't have been such an issue, same goes for what happened at Gateway on Saturday night, but I digress...
By the way, Aflac is an insurance company, right? Well let's say that if Carl injures BK later on, he's gonna regret having Aflac as a sponsor because his rates are gonna skyrocket!

Carl had insurance when he went airborne at 'Dega. Your right about that at Atlanta but you have to expect the worst, I mean like Larry Mac said you cant keep using the excuse "I meant to hit him, but I didn't mean for him to go airborne." Although that problem was the car and they fixed it. Things will always happen in NASCAR and you should expect something to go wrong at 200 mph. Racing like this has always been in NASCAR and it should stay and thats why NASCAR made the car the way they did.
