Lowes 600 Ending

My internet connection failed at Lap 198/231 so...I'm deciding on how to score this race. I've spoken with Raptor and we have some options. I know I said that we would run races 100%, then this internet junk happens. The vote above are some options for scoring the race if some people felt cheated.

1 - The first choice is to finish the final 33 laps some other time when everybody connects. The seven who were on at the time of the internet failure must be on to race. I have the running order written down to continue from that point. HOWEVER, our fuel strategy would be reset!

2 - Second choice is to call the race official at Pilburn's red flag. When Pil returned from the shower, we made mandatory pit stops which shuffled the field. A couple laps later, the internet cut out and people who made pit strategy for the end may have felt cheated cuz they lost spots from where they were running when Pil was away. The order at red: 1-Burnout, 2-Scorpio, 3-DOC, 4-Pilburn, 5-Raptor, 6-Kooler, 7-Fastman

3 - The third choice would be a random draw. Many of you complained of lag which could have been a sign that my internet might go out at some point. I had fixed this lag and wondered why it flared up again. So, we could all connect one day and however the grid randomly places us, that would be our finishing order

4 - The fourth choice would be to set the finishing order by qualifying. Those that left early would still be placed last. The order would be: 1-Raptor, 2-Scorpio, 3-Burnout, 4-Pilburn, 5-DOC, 6-Kooler, 7-Fastman, 8-Burn, 9-Jurgen.

start over? or is choice number 1 a chance for me to keep racing??

You could keep racing but you'd be alot of laps down.

one of the 2 of the main reasons I left was the lag. I felt it unfair, at 4 different points of the race, I was in first by a large margin, and even after yellows when everyone was caught up, I began to lead more but after 2-3 more laps, I hit the wall because I was either warped and the lag just took my car elsewhere. I think we should start the race COMPLETELY over, I think a few of you may agree with me and a few may not. But seriously Burnout, what was the cause of that lag? And also, please think about restarting the race full laps and everything...?

P.S. I had to go meet my friend, but I told him to meet me after I was finished with my race, which I guessed would be 1:30-2 hours, just so nobody asks about the other reason...

My internet shutdown was due to network maintenance. I'm on a campus network and it booted me offline so that they could do work. When the internet came back on, I had to download Windows security updates before it let me back on the internet. So maybe the lagging was due to the maintenance guys eating up some of the network and later on, the internet failed so that they could reset the network with the mandatory updates. They typically do that stuff overnight, not in the evening.

Yea Burn, I thought about redoing it, but we got so far and I don't think many of you would want to redo 240 laps....it eats up another evening. If the vote passes for continuing the race, I might allow you to start in the rear on the lead lap, Burn.

Ok. I think it would be more fun if we redo or we make a lower lap count?

No i cant re race tonight and we need the full field. How would burn start on the lead lap if we ran double the laps he did? Sorry burn but just bringing up issues that should be brought up.

Makes sense Raptor, however the reason I am letting him back in is cuz I feel bad about the lag and I wanted to do something to make it more fair for everyone and start on equal ground (lag free) as we complete the race. Its just a friendly gesture to continue this race hassle free. Sure he was several laps down, but I think I owe it to everyone even Burn. I'm confident that my lag is gone and we will have a great finish

Ok, I wasn't talking about myself, I was talking about fastman, I can come whenever, and when would that be? What time is the rest of the race?
