180+ point lead, 3 to go.....heh how can he lose. To lose this Cup, he has to finish dead last and have Carl Edwards win @ Texas. Even then, Carl would have like 40 pts to gain on him......you never know I guess. I'm lookin forward to the Texas race anyway, good track. Chad better not make any stupid post-race adjustments cuz that lead could fizzle out in a hurry if they are caught.

He'll get it, I know it... And it will be fun to see what he'll do with next year.

Hey he didn't really suck at the start... carl just was good and jimmie won pheonix. I don't think Carl will win it because, well unless jimmie doesnt finish in the top 5 or top 10 then carl might have a chance after homestead

Hell yea!! carl is -183... no way he can make it up, jj in 2006 set the biggest comeback to win a championship with 5 to go, witch was 124 pts well now its 3 to go and 183 carl hasto make up , its jj's...

how did he suck? he won Phoenix, 2nd at texas 13th at atlanta, dont overlook his finished, he got a dnf at daytona becuase of the 77 being a newb

Pheonix is next... carl doesnt have anything on johnson there lol. And guess what in two weeks is homestead and heres the catch it's the COT

Well Carl erased over a third of Johnson's lead in the first of three races, so Carl so far is on the right track. Phoenix is always a good race and I'm sure Jimmie will run well there but you never really know what will happen till it happens. If Carl gets to eat up another 70 points on Johnson's lead (unlikely) but if that happens, Johnson would have to keep the #48 in the top 10 at Homestead and keep Carl in sights. Remember, Homestead is the best track for Roush Fenway Racing. Biffle has a ton of wins there in a row and Kenseth won last year. I think the momentum is on Carl to win at Homestead this year and keep the Roush streak going.

Jimmie has preformed very well at phoenix.

Roush has been very dominant at Homestead, but once again that might change because of the COT.

Once again Jimmie finished 1st for his 3rd time in a row at pheonix, Now Gordon on the otherhand has one more shot that probably will not happen. So Jeff Gordon's drive for five will continue next year.
