RACE NOTES

• Kooler docked 25 points for calling a yellow flag under the last ten laps and for backwards driving, wrecking the other five lead lap drivers at the time. Because of this, SCARTS Officials have pushed back the results to Lap 195. Officials have suspended Kooler for one race in the Full Throttle Series for his actions during the race.

UPDATE: Officials reconvened with Kooler earlier today (August 3rd), and after a lengthy meeting, have decided against banning the driver in light of his lack of knowledge of the recently updated rulebook. However, he still maintains a 25 point penalty for the backwards driving incident that took out the top five finishers on Lap 195.

one more time rules are made for a minor ... race before phoenix was a mess at the end ... and nothing happened ... i asked yellow ... but the big boss do what he wants ... this the only rule

Kooler we are using the new rulebook that states no yellows within the final ten laps. If one is called, your car is parked at the lap you call it on. If there is resistance by the driver, he gets banned from a set number of races. There was a brief period recently where I didn't want to ten lap rule but that has since been modified with an official new rulebook.

I DID remind you guys of the caution rule during the race and we used the method last race, which I understand you were not there to participate in. If I didn't make myself clear before hand, sorry but so you know read through the new rulebook to get acquainted.

I won't ban you this time since you honestly did not know.
