New Sprint All-Star Race format Empty New Sprint All-Star Race format

Post by Burnout Wed Mar 25, 2009 3:58 pm

NASCAR has announced the new All-Star race format for 2009. The only similarity to the 2008 model is a 100 lap, four segment race. However, segment lengths have changed.

-Segment 1: 50 lap segment, mandatory green flag pit stop required at Lap 25, optional stop at segment end
-Segment 2: 20 lap segment, optional pit stop at segment's end
-Segment 3: 20 lap segment, 10 minute break after segment to prep for the final leg
-Segment 4: 10 lap shootout, green flag laps count only

This should be good.

New Sprint All-Star Race format Empty Re: New Sprint All-Star Race format

I think we should hold a vote between Daytona, Lowes, Dover, and Pocono (or Michigan).
The way I see it, these are my opinions of the best tracks made and what I think are most of the racers favorites! Think about it.
