Lemme know what you think of the NASCAR season so far, who looks good and who has work to do.

Jeff Gordon is showing Burton like consistency so far this year, Kurt Busch is performing well for Dodge, and Matt Kenseth won those first two races. But man, its hard to see Mark Martin struggling like he has with mechanical issues and blown tires. I hope he can rebound, its early enough yet! As for Dale Jr, I have no idea. He may have finished 11th on Sunday, but his car was crap and he lucked out with a couple lucky dogs at Atlanta. He may get close to the Chase this year, but I predict he will fall short.

With five races in the books, the top 12 is interesting right now. Nine of the 2008 Chasers are in the Top 12 with Jeff Burton, Greg Biffle, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. on the outside looking in. Two Dodges, Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne are now in the Top 6 and David Reutimann is hanging on to 11th. I wonder how things will change headed towards the Chase cutoff.

Yeah, this should shape up to be an interesting year, with other drivers like Newman and others trying get in the chase.
