Driver Swaps for 2009

2009 will be an interesting year with drivers switching rides. Here's the list with unknown drivers included in it.

In addition to the driver swaps, two teams have been formed as results of mergers: Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Chip Ganassi Racing merged to become Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing. Gillett Evernham Motorsports and Petty Enterprises also merged forming Richard Petty Motorsports. The drivers in these new teams not mentioned above, retain their car numbers from 2008 yet their team names will be different.
