100 bonus points for drivers who make every start?

Ok, here is my idea... If you won't incorporate my idea of having real NASCAR points system then we should try this idea.

Every driver who completes every start in any given series will be rewarded 100 points for perfect attendance at the end of the season. I use this method in my fantasy series for NR2003. It works really well and I think people will start looking at the points a little more often. Maybe even if you missed one race you could receive 50 points for 99% attendance.

I want to know your thoughts for this idea for the 2010 SCARTS season.

I dunno...seeing as how hardly everybody can finish a season. There will always be bans and points where we can't make a race. I only ran 11 races in FT this season because of bans and because of unavoidable issues. I had to deal with graduation, moving around all over the country, college and all of that...so you can see how hard it would be with real life getting in the way.

It is hard for some of us to make 100% of the races, and I almost did. I am trying to get you guys to make more starts. Maybe we need less races?

thats wat i was saying, we should do a spring, summer, and winter season it will make things easier and maybe more contending for the championship in the final race.

I don't like the seasonal shifts... We could just shorten the cup side to 15 races and the others around it. It doesn't make sense to me to have 3 seasons of the same thing.

Another flaw, if someone did better then you and didn't have enough starts for bonus points. Then you had 100%, you get 100 pts. and win the championship...

It isn't a flaw... It is designed to do that. It rewards drivers who made every start appose to somebody who made selective starts. depending on the points system we use you can widen or narrow the bonus points. The system we are using now could use maybe +25 for every start. NASCAR points system could use anywhere from +50 to +100.

I like the idea of rewarding someone for perfect attendance especially since nobody has done it this season. Either we cut back on the schedule or we make a better points system.
