TWO races into the Chase and Pilburn still has a big lead in the points. But Burnout has started to claw back from the huge 41 point deficit he had after Loudon. Good news for Pilburn: he has distanced himself more over Lexx, Scorpio, and Raptor. Bad news for Pilburn: he has to shake Burnout's momentum going into Lowe's.

I have enough time to make up some points, I won't win the 09 championship. Even though I am still mathematically in I am not realistically in. I am kind of like Tony Stewart, or Kurt Busch a couple weeks ago.

Thats also the reason why I want the real NASCAR points system in this SCARTS league, the points are very close. It would make for a better points battle, and it would force you almost to race every race. I find it weird to gain a lot of points from 1st-2nd-3rd. In NASCAR 1st-2nd is farther away in points but 2nd-10th are pretty close in points.
