Chase Race #3 at Lowe's was won by Pilburn.  It is the second race in the Chase that has has dominated by scoring max points.                    SCARTS Ticker

The battle for the Phenom Series title is heating up!! Pilburn now trails Scorpio by 29 points and Raptor by 18 as Pilburn dominated at Loudon.  Focus turns to Lowe's for the first of four races left to determine the champion.  Date still TBA.                     SCARTS Ticker

When is the next race? I want to defend and go for this one too... you two are closing in fast. Pil has a shot to change the point lead if Scorpio doesn't show up.

Whenever you both are able to race together. I told Pil and the others that we'd only run ONE Phenom race out of respect to you and Scorpio going for the title. As long as there was no mathematical chance of a change of rank for you and Scorpio, we ran the event.

We have our own little battle brewing for 3rd place between Pil, Klutch, and myself. Don't rule Klutch out of this equation. He's made three less starts than Scorpio and four less than Raptor and he sits 73 points out of the hunt. Pil and I made 9 and 8 starts. Klutch is right there running the best of any of us this season statistically with only six starts. He's averaging a whopping 55.5 points a race. Yes that is possible, cuz in every race but one he's had a second place or better finish with bonus points.

Based on statistics, Klutch is owning the Phenom Series, but can he catch up in time.....?
